New for this year… Long Beach Laguna Resort, a newly renovated resort next door, is also part of their beachfront community. Both resorts offer reasonably priced, clean and comfortable aircon and fan Thai-style bungalows just steps away from Thailand most beautiful beach.
Long Beach Resort features spacious, thatch-roofed bungalows made from natural materials with a private sundeck and modern Bali-style bathrooms. Sea front, partial sea view and non-sea view bungalows are available, as well as Family Bungalows that sleep up to six people.
Long Beach Laguna Resort features 42 just-refurbished, private aircon bungalows - all just steps away from a beachfront pool and amazing Long Beach. Like it's sister resort, good value will attract people to this resort but the charming bungalows and deserted white sand beach brings them back.
Facilities + Accommodations
The Long Beach Resort community has two wonderful restaurants including the poolside beverage and snack bar. The restaurant at Long Beach Resort features the chef who helped make Relax Bay Tropicana famous. The restaurants feature both Thai and western cuisine with choices and tastes to satisfy every member of the family.
The small beach bar serves terrific iced smoothies made from sweet tropical fruit, as well as iced beer and cocktails. Stress and jet lag quickly disappears under the beach hut with an original Thai Massage. The full-service travel desk helps make traveling life easier by handling all your needs including currency exchange, laundry, security boxes, international phone/fax service, tour booking and bike rental and travel confirmations.
The pool at Long Beach Laguna Resort is reserved exclusively for guests staying in their resort's bungalows (unless you book your Long Beach Resort bungalows online with www.best-of-ko-lanta.com in advance).
Accommodation
The bungalows at Long Beach Resort and Long Beach Laguna Resort have been designed according to what Best of Ko Lanta customers tell us they want.
Guest comments are unanimous in their praise of the use of natural materials, spacious rooms, the sliding doors that afford great views and the large Bali-style bathrooms at Long Beach Resort. We're expecting similar comments about the redesigned Long Beach Laguna Resort bungalows when they open in November 2005.
Long Beach Resort Bungalows
Long Beach bungalows are spacious with well-appointed bedrooms containing one double, plus one single bed. Each features a large private sun deck and Bali style (semi-outdoor) bathrooms. Bungalows are all the same design other than the slightly smaller Garden View Standard Bungalow. The difference in price is dictated by the bungalow's proximity to the beach and different sea views. Bungalows can not accommodate extra beds.
Beachfront Bungalow
Step off your deck onto the beach with aircon, fridge and hot water. These units are usually fully booked far in advance.
Deluxe Bungalow
Partial sea views from your bed and deck with aircon and fridge. Most resorts would call these beachfront units as they're steps away from the beach.
Premiere Fan Bungalow
Direct sea view from your deck with ceiling fan. Clean and simple, yet very romantic for a couple and perfect for a small family.
Standard Fan Bungalows
Clean and comfortable budget bungalows with one double or twin beds, ceiling fan with garden view. One minute walk to the beach. A safe bet for long stays and the budget conscious.
Family (Double) Bungalows
Choose either two Deluxe, Premiere Fan and Standard Fan bungalows and join them together with connecting patios. Great for families with small children who want privacy but the kids in the next "room". Please inquire about these rooms through the booking system.

Long Beach Laguna Bungalows
Laguna bungalows are similar in style to their sister resort except finished in stylish wood clad sides and tile roofs. All bungalows are detached units with large patios on or steps away from beach, pool and small restaurant. The redesigned Laguna bungalows are slightly larger than those in Long Beach Resort and are newly refurbished. Bungalows can not accommodate extra beds.
Beachfront Bungalow
Step off your deck onto the beach. Units include air con, fridge, hot water and coffee machine. These units are usually fully booked in advance during peak season so book soon to avoid disappointment.
Deluxe Bungalow (27)
Partial sea views from your deck with air con, fridge, hot water and coffee machine. Most resorts would call these beachfront units as they're literally steps away from the beach.
Premium Bungalow
Limited sea views from your deck with air con, fridge, hot water and coffee machine. Great for families who want a bungalow close to the pool and beach.
