Kolanta.net decides which hotels and suppliers are featured on our site. No hotel or supplier pays to get onto www.kolanta.net other than the typical travel agents commission. All suppliers on this site have been fair to our customers over the past 5 years and offer (at least) acceptable facilities and service standards. Our booking staff speaks both English and Thai, and lives on the island, so we’re able to provide problem-free bookings for Ko Lanta. We charge the resort’s standard walk-in rates. You may find less expensive rates on other discount websites, but we guarantee your room (and/or VIP Airport Shuttle) will be waiting your arrival. How do we guarantee your booking? Unlike most agents we pay the resort in full immediately after you confirm your booking.
PAYING FOR YOUR BOOKING
Our policy is to take 100% full payment in advance so we can assure your room is there waiting for you. We can only do this by paying the resort when the booking is made. We accept either credit card payment via fax or direct bank transfer for your credit safety. With credit card payment or bank transfers you will pay a small fee with your bank and our 2% service charge, however it is less expensive (and safer) than other payments methods.
HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT VIA CREDIT CARD
After you’ve made an email booking on the site we will email you a credit card processing form which you must print, fill out, sign and fax back to us. This way none of your credit card information is used online and is protected 100%. You’ll authorize us to make one payment based on the form you sign. Additional charges using your credit card are not possible as your signature is required (by our bank). Again, this further safe guards our clients against the misuse of their credit information.
HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT USING BANK TRANSFER
Print this information, take it your bank and pay the amount shown on your booking form.
Customers are responsible for international banking fees both in the country of origin and Thailand.

CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING
Remember to fax or scan and email your payment receipt as detailed above. After you’ve made your payment to Ko Lanta Net the booking is paid in full directly to the holiday suppliers. Your vouchers are then sent to you as proof of your payment within 10 days. If you are traveling soon tell us and we'll leave the vouchers at your resort reception for your arrival.
CANCELLATION + NO SHOWS (per booking)
Between 45 days and 30 days prior to arrival: 25 % of booking total (minimum B1000)
Between 29 days and 8 days prior to arrival: 50 % of booking total (minimum B1000)
Less than 8 days prior to arrival: 75 % of contract rate (minimum B1000)
No show (will be handled case by case by resort): 75 % to 100 % of contract rate (minimum B1000)
BOOKING REVISIONS (per booking)
Between 45 days and 30 days prior to arrival: No charge
Between 29 days and 8 days prior to arrival: B1000
Less than 8 days prior to arrival (Low/High Season): Price of 1 room night (per room) booked
Less than 8 days prior to arrival (Peak Season): Price of 2 room night (per room) booked
SHORTING YOUR STAY AND REFUNDS
Shorting your stay and changing bookings where refunds are required are settled upon arrival directly with the resort. Payment for unused nights can not be credited to your general resort food, beverage and services bill. Charges for revisions made less than 8 days prior to arrival are charges imposed by the resort based on their terms and conditions.
RESORT EXTRA CHARGES
Based on each resorts TERMS AND CONDITIONS you may be required to pay for extra beds, extra breakfasts, galas dinners, and/or other stated charges.
