COST CUTTING ITEMS – DIVE SCHOOL

1. CHANGE ROOF TO GRASS (KEEP SAME DESIGN STYLE)

Maybe we change back to Temple Tiles in 2 or 3 years – I will get price from local people through Seng Chai for grass roof.

2. CHANGE FROM SANDSTONE TO FACE BRICK FOR OUTSIDE  WALLS

Maybe we change back to Sandstone in 2 or 3 years. Please tell me what price to use now for labor – we used first cost 210 for materials and 95 for labor.

3. REMOVE THIRD FLOOR SLAB AND REDUCE STRUCTURE COST

We take off third floor concrete slab, and if possible reduce cost for structure. Also change structure to foundations if possible for faster. >>> Remember we wanted to put 2 water tanks in the roof for water supply – not in first pricing!

4. CHEAPER DOWNLIGHTS – OK I can do

5. CHANGE FOOR TILES TO CEMENT IN AREAS

You told me to change to 50 Baht per square meter for cement topping include some green/black/red powder color.

I found some other small mistakes in the architect’s drawings:

• In section B-B when you look on the left hand balcony he shows low vent brick wall, but actually should be no wall because steps going down to pool there.
• The toilet from the shop needs ventilation – can we put an extractor fan in the ceiling and out to the pool side?
• In Elevation 2 and in the section drawing, he has forgotten to make the window for the shop bathroom higher.
• In one drawing he has used the bigger door like I asked at the top of the shop steps, but in other drawings he still shows a smaller door.
• Step up for rain on balcony where shop steps come onto balcony: the step section needs to be changed to finish at this new height.
• Window 10 for the office must open to the side – shown on the drawing as fixed window.
• Two water tanks in roof not shown and not in costing – Kim please give me price.
• Lockers and bench in change room not in costing
