INBOUND BOOKING SERVICE FOR TRAVEL AGENTS

Visit Ko Lanta (VKL) is a new service for travel agents wishing to make bookings for clients traveling to Ko Lanta.

VKL allows you to make bookings and issue your own vouchers (see terms & conditions below).

VKL is a division of Hi Ed Travel, a government licensed travel agent based in Ko Lanta, Thailand.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDING ELEPHANT TREKKING, ISLAND TOURS, SNORKEL TOURS, SEA KAYAK TRIPS, ISLAND HOPPING TRIPS AND MORE

RATES	Rates are net in Euro/US Dollars at current exchange rates and are subject to change with major market fluctuations.
BOOKINGS	Must be made by e-mail to vkl-booking@kolanta.net. Online real-time booking will become available later this year.
CONFIRMATION	All reservation requests will be confirmed within one working day if possible. If this is not possible, booking status will e advised by e-mail within 2 working days.
VOUCHERS	Vouchers issued to clients for VKL bookings MUST contain prominent text reading ‘VISIT KO LANTA’ followed by the VKL booking reference number.
CLIENT SERVICE	Visit Ko Lanta operates a telephone hotline for clients booked through VKL. Please issue your clients with telephone number 075 684 032 to call in the event of any problems or required assistance while in Ko Lanta.
INSURANCE	Visit Ko Lanta nor its agents shall be held responsible for lost of damaged baggage. For this reason, baggage insurance is strongly recommended.
LIABILITY	Visit Ko Lanta acts as intermediary between transportation and airline companies, hotels, tourist offices and all other contractors providing services and, as such, is not liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political action or unrest must be borne by passengers. Rates, program and tour prices are based on the situation at the time of issue. Booking with Visit Ko Lanta acknowledges the tourist's agreement to the above.
DEPOSITS	As we often have to pay deposits in order to secure hotel reservations, a relevant charge will be invoiced upon booking confirmation. This is normally equal to 20% of booking value.
PAYMENTS	Full payment must be settled through our Bangkok office 14 days prior to a client's arrival, unless credit facility and/or specific terms and agreement have been made in advance. Otherwise, all reservations will be cancelled automatically. Payment can be by credit card or swift transfer to our bank account. Note that all transfer service charges will by borne by the payee. REFUNDS & CANCELLATION	Deposits are fully refundable if the amendment/cancellation is received not less than 30 days before booked arrival date. Later cancellations or changes are subject to our supplier’s terms & conditions. No refund or reduction will be made to clients not arriving, not utilizing paid services, or for early departures except in exceptional cases to be determined by Visit Ko Lanta and their suppliers.
